New designs are constantly under production; one of the latest fabrications being a partitioned body for carrying a security company’s guard dogs. An innovative roof spoiler / wind deflector is presently in the experimental stage, to add to the four present designs of precision moulding available, all substantially reducing wind drag and thereby giving significant fuel savings and improved handling.

Production is carried out on a two acre premises – 50% of which is covered. Most of the management staff have been with the company for over 20 years thus providing an expert and cohesive workforce capable of manufacturing high quality products. Depending on the final specifications we have in the past produced a 40ft boat in a 12 week period

The versatility of fibreglass means that almost anything can be moulded from it and technically there is nothing that Specialised Fibreglass cannot make, as a one-off unit or for mass production.

“There are obviously cost-saving advantages in off-the-peg designs, and these have also been thoroughly tested and often refined and improved over time”.

“But if a customer wants some custom-made item – a new concept or perhaps a modification of an existing design, that can be done too”.

“There is no mystique to the chemistry of fibreglass. It is attention to detail and finish that makes the difference”

“We have built our reputation and success on design excellence, quality control, and customer service. In a competitive market we have to be cost efficient and price competitive too, but not at the expense of quality”.
